Industry associations

 Many industries, even many much smaller than social-recreational dancing, have powerful and important industry associations.

There are many interesting examples; some of them have their primary purpose and overall mission focused on promotion, growth, and success of their industry.

We in the social-recreational dance 'industry' are deeply handicapped by the lack of a meaningful trade association that seriously and powerfully addresses the business side of the social-recreational dance business.
